In Indian weddings baraat processions are a must. The baraat’s are also getting bigger and more fun with the wedding planners, planning the weddings.
A typical baraat band is an entourage of 50-70 persons playing different musical instruments on various traditional and Bollywood songs. There are 4-12 horses which make a royal buggi and behind the horses on the buggy the groom sits. Behind the groom there is a darbaan who hold an umbrella for the groom. Baraat also has lot of elephants who are decorated beautifully. There are camels also in the baraat which are decorated with traditional gorband. Specially decorated horses are also part of the baraat procession that has people sitting in rajasthani attires and holding small bhaala’s. These horses are trained on the music which is being played and very softly and delicately the horses dance on the beats of the music.

Aerial fireworks are also done which make the baraat grand. The alternative or the new idea of baraat entry is on vintage car. With the entire baraat on the vintage car, baraat looks very royal. With the music all the baraati’s dance on different songs and reach the wedding destination. On the wedding destination, all the baraati’s are welcomed by the bride side family.
